Chi Chi Tip #1: Have a Book Signing or Two. Book signings, in retail bookstores or restaurants and business venues are excellent ways to bring awareness to an entrepreneur’s products and services. It encourages networking and community support from all angles.

Chi Chi Tip #2: Teach a Class. Entrepreneur Authors are encouraged to link up with local colleges, universities, community libraries, churches etc. and teach a class on their book. It is an exceptional way to feature and sell the book. Authors can also teach classes on related subject matter of the book.

Chi Chi Tip #3: Online and Social Networking. This is a great time to connect with businesses and individuals online or face to face. Authors should select online social networking groups which allow their members to post profiles of themselves. In the profiles, authors can showcase their book, website and direct people to preview or purchase their products/services.

Chi Chi Tip #4: Be a Radio Show Guest. What better way to make yourself and your voice known than to be a guest on a radio show! Authors can branch out to an interested and new crowd of potential clients and customers. After the show, request a podcast/tapping of the show so pass along as marketing material.

We started the staffing special by interviewing Wade Hughes with The Intersect Group. Wade is the partner in charge of Intersect consulting services. In this capacity, he manages strategy articulation, corporate governance, operations and project management and implementation engagements on behalf of The Intersect Group clients.
