With over 30 years of combined experience in business and academics, Dr. Boling has developed an expertise in the fields of strategy, entrepreneurship and management. During his business career, Ruben has served in leadership and staff positions for several major companies including Arthur Andersen, Georgia Power and WorldColor. He has also served as owner or co-owner of two different small businesses and as a key partner in start-up initiatives in larger companies and institutions. His managerial and consulting experience has spanned several industries and focused on enhancing or improving strategy, customer acquisition and retention, and operations.

As part of the Mike Cottrell College of Business and as Director of the Center for the Future of North Georgia, Ruben’s primary focus is to promote entrepreneurship and business leadership in the classroom and regional and international business community.

Ruben holds a Doctor of Business Administration with a focus in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Kennesaw State University, Master of Science in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology, and Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.

 Jimmy Lane is the Vice President of Development at The Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce.  In this capacity he acts as the primary membership and investment development representative on behalf of the Chamber. This position is responsible for all major private investment in the organization and membership development.   He is also responsible for the Membership Development Executives, Administrative Support Staff, Chamber Stakeholder Volunteers, and Program Oversight.  He has been in this role at the Chamber for 7 years.  He is also very active with the Leadership Forsyth program and the Bald Ridge Boys Lodge where he will assume the role as Chairman of the Board for both organizations in 2 years.

 Jimmy studied Math Education at North Georgia College & State University and was active in the Corp of Cadets holding leadership positions for 3 years.  He is also a member of the Sigma Omega Fraternity.

 Jimmy lives in Braselton, GA and is married to his college sweetheart Felicia Kiener Lane.  They are the proud parents of 5 year-old twins named Blakley and Cameron.

Michael Eilerman

Michael Eilermann is an entrepreneur in the area of business networking.  In 2001, Michael started a faith-based Christian business networking group, that grew to 5 monthly lunches around Atlanta,  That group is currently reformulating as G6ten, founded on Galatians6:10.

 Over the years, Michael has learned a lot about business networking about what works, and what does not. He now does several unique things to help others with their business networking productivity. He at times refers to himself as the $35 entrepreneur.  Though everything he does is on an ala carte basis, everything he does is $35 or less.  His latest entrepreneurial endeavor is a digital business card, using your personal business card, with working links to whatever you want people to know about you, including click to call, and click to email.  His digital business cards will work on any smart phone, tablet or computer.  No App Required. He also helps people create personal ‘About Me’ web pages and sites.  Business networking is significantly about people, and not always about the specific business that you do or are in.  He can have anyone into a simple About Me web site, teach them how to edit it, and have their name on it, in an hour and yes, for only $35.  He can have your audio or video business introduction on the internet, on your own easily referable web page for $35 or less.  We have to make it easy for the people who know, like and trust us, to actually refer us.  Michael has a personal saying, “You have to whittle away at your why not’s”

Welcome to the very first episode of CFBRX!!!   I hope this is the first of many shows spotlighting all types of businesses in Forsyth county.  It was such a pleasure sitting down and chatting with Bruce  and Tim.   Both men are excellent examples of successful, family run businesses that make giving back to the community, they call home, a priority.   From Bruce providing 120 free lunches for the Leukemia Society or Tim coaching the North Forsyth freshman football team, they truly personify what is best about local business in our community.   I could go on and on telling you all the ways these two and their businesses give back to the community.  They also were kind enough to come to the interview bearing gifts.  Bruce brought a dozen delicious cookies from Lenny’s  Subs.  Tim was kind enough to make a few T-Shirts with our Business RaidoX logo on the front.  Thanks Gentlemen! Prior to joining SecurAmerica, Tim spent 12 years at the ARAMARK Corporation where he served as President of two ARAMARK operating companies and was a member of the executive leadership team at ARAMARK that orchestrated a unique management led LBO to take ARAMARK private in January, 2007.  As President, ARAMARK Healthcare, Tim led the turnaround of this multi-billion dollar business segment that provides Clinical Equipment Maintenance & Engineering, Plant Management & Engineering, Capital Project Management and Food and Patient Nutrition services in over 1,200 acute care hospitals across North America.  Prior to ARAMARK Healthcare, Tim was President, ARAMARK Correctional Services providing a similar suite of services to over 600 state, county and municipal correctional facilities in North America, where he and his team grew the business to over $500 million and became the significant market share leader in their industry.  In addition to these leadership roles, Tim helped lead the assimilation of the $800 million acquisition of Service Master as Executive Vice President of ARAMARK Healthcare and served as Region Vice President.  Prior to ARAMARK, Tim led new business acquisition in the Education business unit at Sodexo as Sr. Vice President Sales & Business Development.  Tim began his business career at Atlanta based Rollins, Inc. (Orkin Pest Control) where he progressed through a number of positions over his ten year tenure there including Rollins first Vice President Quality, Vice President Human Resources and Vice President Administration/Operations of Rollins Protective Services.

With nearly 30 years of service industry experience, Campbell has shared his expertise through directorship of a number of boards of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations including the former Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Quality Resource Center, the American Hospital Association Institute for Diversity and currently The Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management & Education (CAHME) and Advisory Board Member for the new University of Georgia College of Engineering.  He is closely affiliated with a number of trade organizations including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), The American College of Healthcare Executives, The American Correctional Association, The National Sheriff’s Association, The International Facility Management Association and the National Association of College & University Business Officers.  Led by (then) Senator Sam Brownback and Congressman Danny Davis, Tim provided input to and lobbied for the Second Chance Act, which was passed by Congress in 2008.  He later attended the formal signing of the law by President George W. Bush in the Oval Office.

Tim earned both a B.S.A.E. degree and M.S. in Engineering from the University of Georgia where he graduated Cum Laude, was a walk-on member of the Georgia Bulldog football team, was Gamma Sigma Delta, and was the University’s first K.K. Barnes National Award Winner in 1984.  Since then Tim has guest lectured at several universities, been an invited speaker at 20 professional conferences and has authored or co-authored 17 published articles on topics ranging from food safety to leadership development.  

Tim is a volunteer Assistant High School Football Coach at North Forsyth High School, A volunteer guest musician with Musicians On Call at the VA Hospital in Decatur, Georgia, a guitarist/singer/songwriter, avid runner, whitewater kayaker and holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate.  His wife Sandi, and their two children live in Cumming, Georgia.

Mr. James Bronner serves as the Senior Vice President of Trade Show Operations, Director of Technology and part owner of the multi-million dollar family-owned corporation Bronner Bros., Inc.

In addition to leading the company’s IT operations, Mr. Bronner oversees every facet of the annual Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show, which is widely regarded as the largest multi-cultural beauty show in the world. A serial entrepreneur, he is also Vice President of Century Systems Inc.

At age five, Mr. Bronner started his first business — a paper route. He learned to deliver papers, collect money and save his earnings before even learning to ride a bicycle. Inspired by a stockbroker who spoke at his 7th grade career day, at age 12 he entered the stock market with money earned from his paper route. At the age of 14 he went into business with his oldest brother, and became the Vice President of Century Systems Inc., which today makes and sells health food products in over 15,000 health food and drug stores nationwide.

Mr. Bronner attended Benjamin E. Mays High School where he served as senior class Vice President, Co-captain of the golf team and graduated as the top black male in his class. He went on to graduate from Georgia Tech in computer engineering on a 4-year academic scholarship. While a junior at Georgia Tech he became an independent distributor for Supralife International and became their youngest 5-star leader in history, with over 800 distributors under him in less than 6 months.

When Mr. Bronner received his driver’s license at the age of 16 he instantly began helping other youth by driving the youth church bus every Sunday. At the age of 27 he accepted his call into the ministry and became the youth pastor of the Ark of Salvation.

The youngest of six sons, Mr. Bronner and his wife Stephanie are the proud parents of three boys and four girls. After birthing seven children in their first ten years of marriage, they decided to share their experiences and coauthored a book entitled, “Bedroom Talk.”

Laura Lanford is a representational impressionist who has always had a love of art. She studied graphic design/illustration for two years at Auburn University but took a different career path. She became serious about oil painting after retiring from her private speech therapy practice.

Laura has taken professional level workshops from artists around the country.

However, it wasn’t until she became a mentoring student of artist James Richards that she began to truly begin to understand the language of painting.

Today, Laura loves to paint using a light and shadow approach.  Her subject matter ranges from city scapes to landscapes as well as still life and children.  Laura teaches oil painting workshops and weekly classes at Wild Hope Gallery in Roswell as well as J. Richards Gallery in Decatur.

Laura has participated in several juried shows and sells her work through Wild Hope Gallery.

Bob’s introduction to the world of advertising began when he was hired as a young Art Director for N.  W. Ayer and Son, in Philadelphia. The agency, Ayer Worldwide was successful and had a reputation for outstanding brand development.

Bob’s assignment on one of the most exciting creative teams within the agency, found him working on United Airlines, Sealtest, Dole Pineapple and Hanes. That unique experience in one of the world’s most successful and creative advertising agencies was the beginning of his excitement for advertising.

In 1965 he was hired to be the creative director of the Atlanta office of the McCann Marschalk Company Advertising Agency. Working on the Coca-Cola Company Brands. During that time he was invited to Lecture on several occasions at the Atlanta College of Art. This was his introduction to the Associates of the Atlanta College of Art, which led to an invitation to become a member of the Board of Directors, Inc. and Bob became CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Bob founded and was president of Cargill and Associates, Inc., a very successful venture with national awards and international recognition. In 1990 the agency merged with Cole, Henderson and Drake Inc. and bob became the CEO and Chairman of the agency.

While chairman of CHD, Bob developed a serious interest in watercolor painting. That interest led him to want to explore the medium full time. Bob says, “my years in advertising automatically trained me to decide on what makes a good design and/or a good visual to please the eye. These skills transfer to his paintings, which have been described as “fresh and crafted”.

Now a member of the Georgia Watercolor Society, Atlanta Artist Center and currently a member of Atlanta Advisory Council of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Bob maintains an intense interest in improving his painting skills and continues to attend watercolor courses and workshops with nationally renowned skip Lawrence, Tony Couch, Albert Handell and Bill Condit.

Bob is married. He and his wife Barbara have two grown children, Colleen and Todd.

Wild Hope Art Gallery Adds Additional Services

Vision Statement:

Wild Hope is adding some new services to the gallery. Beginning July 6, 2016 the gallery will invite 3 new artists to join the gallery as residing artists. The Artists will paint in the gallery and exhibit their work. The gallery will still be open to the public on a regular schedule.

Art Consulting: Diane Buffington will continue to serve residential and business clients in finding and placing art.

  • On site visit by art consultant, Diane Buffington

  • Photographs and detailed survey to establish art requirements

  • In depth research to provide examples of possible art solutions using client reactions to refine the search.

  • Determination of approved budget with selections in that range.

  • Management of commissioned art including shipping and delivery.

  • Supervision of hanging to client satisfaction.

The Gallery will continue to rotate new and interesting art as it becomes available.

The Gallery will have shows and openings for various artists on a regular basis.

New Gallery Services

Laura Lanford, one of our new residence artists is an accomplished art instructor. Her Resume is attached.

Laura will hold workshops in the gallery monthly. The gallery will market and manage these workshops online and through direct contact with art associations. Workshop participants will enjoy an appropriate environment complete with easels and worktables.

The Gallery will schedule regular open studio events for artists. These events will include live models or still life settings.

The Gallery will provide space for artist groups to have shows in the gallery.

A Fee Schedule will be published for the above activities.

Prior to IgniteHQ, Nancy established and ran VantagePoint Staffing Solutions, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise, which she successfully sold in 2010. In addition, she spent more than two decades working for Georgia-Pacific Corporation where she was the architect in creating Encadria Staffing Solutions – a wholly owned subsidiary and in-house staffing company. Most recently, Nancy interacted with hundreds of the state’s entrepreneurs as vice president of entrepreneurial development and business growth at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC). An Atlanta native, Nancy earned a B.B.A. in management from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. In addition to IgniteHQ, she serves on the executive committee of Terry’s Alumni Relations Board, is a part of the Atlanta Regional Commission, Innovation Committee, and is a member of Vistage International.

Hanks leads the International Entrepreneurship Institute and is certified in business valuation, providing expert witness testimony. Before teaching at UGA, Hanks taught entrepreneurship at Georgia State University and assisted in leading the Russell Center for Entrepreneurship. He earned a BBA from University of Georgia and an MBA from San Jose State University.
