Specialized Asset Services / Realtor

Atlanta Intown Real Estate Services is a boutique, LGBT and woman-owned Real Estate Brokerage with three offices in Metro Atlanta. We have a combined 40 years of experience in the retail market and over 15 years of experience in the REO and Default Industry. With over 15 years in real estate, I have sold over 1,500 homes in Metro Atlanta. My experiences include working with first-time homebuyers, investors, the default industry; REO; short sales; pre-foreclosures; and with HUD counseling agencies to help keep homeowners in their home through loan modifications, or through any of the other available programs such as HAMP/HARP. I am also experienced in selling high-end homes. I have been licensed since 2001. I began working the REO market in 2007, and have been the top agent in multiple real estate offices from 2009-2014. I am also making strides to do the same for 2015. I have the knowledge, compassion and experience when working with struggling homeowners in the preforeclosure/short sale arena, and with homeowners who have just had their home foreclosed on and who will need relocation assistance or cash-for-keys making a dignified transition to another home. I have a full staff to assist with occupancy checks, cash-for-keys, property preservations, marketing and selling bank owned assets. I bring to the table detailed knowledge of construction and repair costs, enabling me to evaluate, assess and advise marketing strategies for a particular asset as is vs. repaired. We pride ourselves in our efficiency to submit BPO’s within 24-48 hours but with great details to show our clients what the market really looks like. I have done hundreds of BPO’s and have sold close to 1,000 homes in the past 8 years.

Jamie Bodner / Pinnacle Fitness
Owner

Jamie Bodner. Jamie’s love for fitness, weight training, and health began at a young age. He realized he could finally be in-shape like those around him by taking care of himself through exercising and eating right. He started reading every book and magazine he could and working out every moment he was able. Once he started, it quickly became a passion and it opened up a new world and way of life for him.

Growing up in New York, Jamie always expected to go to college before settling into the corporate lifestyle. He never once thought about making his passion for fitness his career. Still, while he was working his way up the corporate ladder at the World Trade Center, he never felt one hundred percent fulfilled.

After 9/11, Jamie decided to follow his dream to fruition.  Studying with the renowned Dr. Jack Barnathan, owner and founder of NYStrength, a worldwide leader in health, fitness, strength, and conditioning, he became a certified Fitness trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA). He then moved to Miami and began his fitness career working for Bally’s initially as a trainer before then to assistant manager. He was later recruited by Results Fitness Studio for the head trainer position. During his time at Results Fitness, he also worked with the United Teaches of Dade County (UTD)creating and implementing dynamic fitness programs which resulted in a 90% increase in productivity, lower insurance premiums, and a raised level of moral.

In 2005, Jamie and his wife, Laura, relocated to Laura’s hometown of Atlanta where Jamie set about realizing his lifelong goal: opening his own fitness studio. After thinking of the name and discovering the perfect location, Pinnacle Fitness opened in May 2008 in the heart of Buckhead.

Since his first certification, he has continued to obtain additional certifications in Sports Performance such as Nutrition, Arthritis, Special Population and Sports Posifice Training, and Core/Functional Training.

Jamie prides himself on understanding his clients’ needs and desires and seeing their potential. Jamie has worked with every type of client across the spectrum, from people in their late sixties who had never used free weights to high school athletes to improve their performance. No matter what fitness level, he will design a program that will suit your needs, whether it’s to make everyday activities easier or to make you a stronger competitive athlete.

Jamie will always encourage you, pulling your inner strength out with a smile. Along with instructing you on the gym floor, he will also share with you the latest research he finds on nutrition and health. A healthy lifestyle doesn’t start or stop in the gym; he wants you to have the tools you need to reach your goals. He asks every client, “You know you are doing your best when you are here at Pinnacle for your workout. Are you doing the best outside of the gym?” Jamie will ensure that you will.

Having been overweight as a child at the age of twelve, Jamie fully understand the difficulties and humiliation that is faced daily by those who are overweight and out-of-shape. That’s why Jamies first became interested in fitness, weight training, and health – and that’s why Jamie can be your special advocate in finally getting yourself in-shape.

Michelle Knapp & Suzanne Taylor / Scoop OTP
Founders

Website          Facebook          Twitter

Michelle Knapp and Suzanne Taylor started Scoop OTP in 2012 after realizing there wasn’t a meaningful online source about life in the suburbs of Atlanta. Scoop OTP is the insider’s guide to living outside the perimeter with recommendations on restaurants, retail, family fun, a calendar of events, and the scoop on new places coming to town. Knapp and Taylor have both lived in Cherokee County for over 16 years and are involved in their community. Knapp hails from Ohio and Taylor from Florida. They both are married and raise their busy children in public schools. The never-ending carpooling around town, coupled with the desire to learn more about their area, they became the go-to resource for their friends and neighbors, and decided to put that knowledge to use by creating Scoop OTP website, for those living OTP and beyond.

With years of experience in both the public and non-profit arenas, Mark is purposefully leading the talented team at Georgia CALLS to help carve a path for returning citizens here in the Atlanta area to restore their lives, rebuild their families, and give back to their own communities after a successful reentry. List 5-8 Topics or Questions for Interview: What is Georgia CALLS? Why Georgia CALLS? What difference does it make? What process led you to get involved in prisoner reentry? What would you say to those who think, “Why give them a second chance? They’ve already committed a crime.”? Is it wise to provide “charity” to people coming out of prison? (Alternatively, “How is Georgia CALLS different from other charities? What is unique about your approach?”) You’ve mentioned that Georgia CALLS is a pilot program. What kind of results have you seen so far? What is the most important lesson that you have learned over the last 18 months? Why should Georgia CALLS matter to the business community? What are your plans for the future? How can you scale what you are doing to make a larger impact? (Alternatively, “20 people is a drop in the bucket compared to the scale of the problem. Can you speak to how Georgia CALLS can exert influence on a larger scale?”) How can a business help or partner with Georgia CALLS?
