As the Workstyle Product Manager, Samuel Katz oversees the end-to-end delivery and management of Boxer Property’s proprietary collaborative spaces, Boxer Workstyle. These duties include involvement in all aspects of the business’ development; from concept, design, and planning, to construction and delivery, through leasing and operations of the workspaces. Since taking the Product Manager role in 2015, Samuel has overseen the rapid expansion and development of the Workstyle product, growing to over 650,000 square feet across 70 locations nationwide.

In addition to managing the Workstyle product, Samuel also sits on the A.C.E. Scott has 19 years’ experience in construction with Skanska in various leadership roles. As General Manager of Georgia and South Carolina, Scott oversees all office functions, with specific emphasis on implementation of all management control systems, overseeing the preparation of value management studies and cost estimates, as well as field activities, and for the continued development of project management responsibilities. While Scott has most recently served as Account Manager in San Antonio, TX, he is originally from Georgia and has thorough understanding of the market as well as a diverse market background in healthcare, corporate commercial, higher education, K-12, government, and light industrial.

Dyron Dinsmore / Shorenstein Properties
General Manager Bank of America Plaza

Dyron’s career in the real estate industry spans almost three decades. He began his career just out of College in 1985, with Noble Properties-Aplomb; the firm that developed Lenox Square Mall in 1956. Shortly thereafter, Dyron joined Cadillac Fairview – now Prentiss Properties – in the development and opening of what was then referred to as the IBM Tower; known officially as One Atlantic Center. Still with Prentiss, he relocated to Irvine-Newport Beach, CA to join the Prentiss team in fee management for a portfolio of office properties run by The Irvine Co. Dyron’s next move brought him to Dallas, TX where he joined the management team for what was then First City Center, now 1700 Pacific. In 1990, he returned to Atlanta and joined Cousins Properties in the opening of 191 Peachtree Tower and what was then called C&S Plaza, now Bank of America Plaza. After a few years’ hiatus working in land brokerage, Dyron has returned to his former profession at Bank of America Plaza, some 20 years after having opened the project in 1992.

Originally from Boston, Chef Greg learned about food at a young age when he first learned the phrase, “Food is love”. His first culinary steps were what captured his passion when Grandmother Rose showed him how to make chocolate chip cookies, and he states that he is still perfecting the recipe. After training at New England Culinary Institute in Montpelier, Vermont, he worked in different restaurants in the Boston area.

Around age thirty, he trained with a classically trained French chef on a small yacht while sailing over a third of the way around the world. Shortly after the trip, Chef Greg moved to Atlanta and began working at Maxim Prime at the Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta. He then worked as the Chef at Alon’s Bakery and Market. After Alon’s, Chef Greg was Executive Chef at Dal Cuore in Johns Creek before opening Piastra.

Todd Ervin / Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business
Director of Marketing and Communications

Todd Ervin serves as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Georgia Tech, Scheller College of Business.  Prior to that he served as Sr. Vice President Cultur8.  He brings over 20 years of leadership and marketing experience to the higher education world.  His extensive knowledge in strategy, market research, brand and multicultural marketing are all called upon in the development and implementation of a 360 degree marketing and communications program for Scheller College.

Prior to joining Cultur8, Ervin served as Director of Marketing at Turner Broadcasting System, INC., where he oversaw marketing for all of Turner’s NBA properties (NBA on TNT, NBA TV, NBA League Pass, and NBA.com).

He also spent over five years as Sr. Director of Brand Strategy and Market Insights for International Speedway Corporation, a motorsports and entertainment company based in Daytona Beach, FL.  Honored by African Americans OnWheels as among the 70 Most Influential Men in 2007, Ervin oversaw ISC brand marketing, marketing research, and emerging markets.

His civilian career started at Sprint Nextel Corporation where he served as Sr. Manager of Market Research and Sponsorship Diversity Initiatives.  His main responsibilities included building and implementing the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series research plan and ROI model, and developing a diversity program to support all Sprint Nextel sponsorship properties.

From 1995 through 2000, Ervin was an AH-64A (Apache) Attack Helicopter Pilot in the U.S. Army.  During his tenure, he served as a Platoon leader, Company Executive Officer, and Assistant Regiment Operations Officer.  Ervin concluded his military service in February 2000 as a Captain, having completed tours in Ft. Rucker, AL, Fort Bragg, NC, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

During his spare time, Ervin also serves as a member of the National Advisory Committee for the American Stroke Association.  Ervin holds a Masters of Business Administration from Webster University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from East Carolina University.

Kyle Cochran is the Vice President of Product Management and Success at QASymphony. Kyle has over 17 years of software product management and strategy experience in mobile, cloud, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and traditional client-server software development environments. Over the last 6 years, Kyle has been using the latest in agile and software delivery to optimize software delivery.

Previous to QASymphony, Kyle joined Firethorn in 2005 as the 3rd full-time employee. Richard J. Welke has been an academic and professional entrepreneur (“pracademic”) throughout his professional career beginning in 1962 at General Motors Research Laboratories.

He was founder of Methodsworks, Inc. (in Burlington, ON) and owner/president of Meta Systems, Ltd. (Ann Arbor, MI), the first CASE (computer-aided software engineering) repository and interactive development environment for software development. Both were sold to LBMS, Inc. in the UK. Beyond this, he has been CIO/CTO at Atlanta-based companies including AMTEC, H.J. Russell & Company and Parkmobile, when it introduced its first mobile app.

Dr. Welke has been a professor or visiting professor at McMaster University (Hamilton/ON, CA), Erasmus University (NL), Delft University (NL), and Auckland University (NZ), among others, over the past 50 years of his academic career.

At Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Dr. Welke led the Department of Computer Information Systems (CIS) to national prominence, started a number of centers and institutes within the college including the e-Commerce Institute, Center for Process Innovation and now the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute. He initiated the business process management stream offered by the CIS Department along with other major modifications to its course offerings.

Outside the Robinson College of Business, Dr. Welke served as interim CIO for Law Companies Group, Inc. (the largest engineering and environmental services company in the U.S., now part of AMEC-Foster-Wheeler). He also co-founded Brainworks and AppsNmotion.

Dr. Welke received his Ph.D. in management systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management, his MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his B.S.E. from the University of Michigan.

Andrew Hamilton / Parkmobile

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in Software Engineering and Executive Management most recently as CTO for Cardlytics, the leader in Transaction Based Marketing. He began his technology career as a Research Developer with IBM in 1988, progressing to the role of Senior Architect working on government and corporate projects in the USA, New Zealand and the UK. Andrew left IBM to join promising start-up WebMD. Andrew was WebMD’s Technical Director responsible for managing the development of the flagship consumer page content management and news syndication.

On a personal level he lives in Buckhead and is married to his beloved wife of 15 years and has 2 wonderful children.
